Since 2020, the amount of rent benefit has depended not only on your income but also on the rent price, household composition, and your age.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you are entitled to rent benefit depends on a number of conditions. For example, your income and assets must not be too high, and you must live independently. Would you like to know if you meet the conditions for receiving rent benefit? View all conditions at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.belastingdienst.nl\/wps\/wcm\/connect\/bldcontentnl\/belastingdienst\/prive\/toeslagen\/huurtoeslag\/\"><u>Belastingdienst website.<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rent subsidy limit 2021<\/strong><br \/>\nTo be eligible for rent benefit, the rent price (basic rent plus service charges) must be below the rent benefit threshold when the tenancy agreement is concluded. The rent benefit threshold is equal to the liberalisation threshold and is determined by the government each year. The rent benefit threshold and the liberalisation threshold were set at \u20ac752.33 as of 1 January 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Are you between 18 and 23 years old?
